Couple Of Things, written by Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol, was published on Friday. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, one of Bollywood’s most well-known couples, unveiled it. Amrita and Anmol used a special photoshoot to announce the book’s release on Instagram, striking the same posture as Deepika and Ranveer while holding the book. Ranveer Singh can be seen giving Deepika a kiss behind the ear in the picture. RJ Anmol grabbed Amrita close and struck a similar pose. Amrita and Deepika both were holding a copy of Couple of Things.

Sharing the photo, Amrita and her husband wrote, “Couple of Things – Our book is out now! Who Better than the power couple to unveil the cover of our unique love story. Thank you Deepika and Ranveer for being the amazing, wonderful people you both are! We feel absolutely grateful.”

The book by Amrita and Anmol is marketed as a straight-up love story that follows each of their separate paths to meeting one another. After the success of their YouTube programme Couple of Things, it was released during Valentine’s Week.

Talking about it, Amrita and Anmol said, “A book on Couple of Things seemed like the next best transition for us. We believe our love story has the potential to explore every medium & reach every audience. We are super thrilled to bring to the readers, each n every aspect of our love story and our journeys to spotlight – the good, the bad, the controversial, all of it.”

A few years into their relationship, Amrita and Anmol decided to get married in 2016. On November 1, 2020, the couple gave birth to a son they named Veer. The actor’s most recent appearance was in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s 2019 film Thackeray, in which she played Meena Thackeray, the wife of Bal Thackeray.

The actress Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol, who tie the knot six years ago had managed to keep their love life under the bay. The news of their wedding came as a shocker to everyone as they kept their dating a secret and announced their wedding in 2016. In the recent vlog on their YouTube channel, the couple is seen uncovering their dating days which are making headlines on every news Portal.

In the YouTube video, Anmol was seen talking about his insecurity while dating the actress Amrita. The confession started when Amrita said that her co-stars’ girlfriends used to be insecure with her being around. “I have experienced this that whenever I’d be on shoots, my co-stars’ girlfriends, who were heroines themselves, were very very insecure,”

To this revelation by wife Amrita, Anmol replied, “I can understand the reason for their insecurity. Because their (respective) boyfriends were shooting with a very beautiful girl”. Likewise, he also uncovered Amrita’s habit of not replying to his messages when she was on a shoot, not even during lunch breaks these things always made him feel insecure.

“I never kept it inside me. I opted for communication. I spoke to Amrita. I said ‘Yaar, when you don’t reply to my messages, my heart starts pounding. And one more thing, nobody knew about our affair. So, all those people on her sets thought she was single. No boyfriend. So, my insecurity was multiplied by 10,” expressed Anmol in the vlog.

Now the couple is enjoying a happy married life and got blessed with their first child Veer in November 2020.

Vivah actress, Amrita Rao, talks about motherhood and balancing family life with work-life during her son’s first year birthday.

Announcing her first pregnancy with her husband RJ Anmol, she took over her fans with this pleasant news. Last year the couple welcomed their little boy with utmost happiness and it’s already his first birthday.

Amrita Rao shares an Instagram post of the couple with their son veer, in a picture on her son’s birthday.She opens up about her schedule colliding during this period of motherhood. She says,” I haven’t got an 8 hours stretch of sleep from the past 18 months”. Due to her newborn and managing her work schedule at the same time, she talks about how her time isn’t here anymore and has to be given to her baby boy, veer. She wakes up to make veers food , then the families and the whole day goes onto work and later, just family time. She adds how her husband has always been with her side by side sharing the parental duties.

As her son turns one, “and the mommy in me turns one as well” she adds, the family plan to celebrate the togetherness at home with only close family members, owning to the pandemic. “A beautiful animal-themed cake has been ordered for him, decorated the house with balloons ” The couple then shares their gift to Veer will be a contribution on his behalf to a non-profit organization for cataract surgeries for children and senior citizens.

Amrita Rao shares her journey in Bollywood, on ‘Masti’ completing its 17 glorious years

Masti is a Indian adult comedy film. Masti’ is undoubtedly one of the most successful films we have in the genre. Masti is directed by Indra Kumar, and starring Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi in the lead roles with Lara Dutta, Amrita Rao, Tara Sharma and Genelia D’Souza as female leads and Ajay Devgn in a supporting role. The film was released in 2004, and received positive response from critics, and also managed to do well at the box office, turning out to be a moderate success at the box office. Masti was also amongst the low number of Bollywood adult comedy movies at the time of its release.

As the film clocks 17 years today, ‘Etimes’ got in touch with Amrita Rao, who was one of the leading ladies of the film.

In an exclusive interview with ‘ETimes’, Amrita shared her memories and experience of being a part of the film, the fun she had with her co-stars, and more.

When asked about, how does she look back at the film Masti today, after it has completed its 17 years, the actress said, “Wow, some films are so picture perfect that you don’t want to change even a single frame and ‘Masti’ is definitely one such magical film. It’s funny and its relevance is simply timeless. There were many sequels thereafter but none of them was even close to ‘Masti’.”

The actress also talked about her initial reaction when she was first offered the movie. The actress revealed, “Director Inder Kumar ji and Ashok Thakeria ji, the producer had seen me in ‘Ishq Vishk’ and approached me for this one. I was 16-years-old back then. My earliest memory is of the narration given by Milap Zaveri, which was super hilarious. I was very happy to jump into the shoes of this hyper-possessive wife Anchal aka ‘Satellite’ who is always keeping a track of her husband’s whereabouts.”

Talking about the kind of reactions she recieved back from the audience, the actress further added, “I remember after ‘Masti’ released, wherever I went girls and guys used to see me and go, “Jaanu you love me no?” referring to my signature dialogue from the film. I used to look at them and laugh back. It was a sign of genuine popularity. The film also became my first silver jubilee film!”

The actress also revealed about who was the prankster on the sets of ‘Masti’. Amrita said, “Reteish Deshmukh was very shy and quiet back then; the pranksters clearly were Vivek Oberai and Aftab Shivdasani. I recall on my first day of workshop, which was even before we all went on set. I was shooting for ‘Main Hoon Na’ and had reached the workshop a bit late because I was at another rehearsal. As soon as I entered the reading room, Vivek started clapping and the entire cast followed; they clapped loudly on my entry just as to embarrass me of having entered late!”

She also shared an anecdote,”I was shooting for ‘Masti’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’ in the same year and I recall there was a week when I had to do a double shift and I shot day and night for 72 hours without a break, hopping from one set to another.

I also recall that one of the days there was a massive date overlap and both Farah Khan and Indu ji required me to be on their sets at the same time. That day was such a tough call and then Mr Shah Rukh Khan kindly called and requested Inder Kumar ji to adjust the shoot date for me, and Induji was sweet enough to allow me.”

When asked about her comeback, Amrita said, “Well, I couldn’t take up Mr Boney Kapoor’s offer of debuting on the OTT platform only because I was in my seventh month of pregnancy and in the last few months I couldn’t take up many offers while being a hands-on mom to an infant. However, now that my baby will be six months old in May, I am relieved and ready to start working anytime now.”

Amrita made her screen debut in Ab Ke Baras (2002), for which she was also nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award in 2003 and she was widely recognized from her role in the romance film Vivah (2006).

The couple disclosed their son’s name by sharing a picture of them a while back, with the hashtag ‘Veer.’

They shared a picture of them with their son ‘Veer’ on RJ Anmol’s Twitter account. It’s a beautiful picture of a happy family, and we can’t take our eyes off the picture, as it’s loaded with cuteness.

Talking about the name Veer, Amrita revealed, “Anmol & I are both very patriotic & the name ‘Veer’ was his first choice I loved it almost immediately.”

On asking how has been the experience of motherhood especially with no help around, Amrita says, “Balancing Veer with My Work Meetings, days are shorter, nights are longer, clothes shabbier …but being a first-hand mom is the only way to know your baby like no one else. I feel stronger, wiser & proud I took the challenge.”

Amrita Rao will be back to her scheduled work of endorsement and films, that isn’t announced yet.

Amrita Rao and her husband RJ Anmol welcomed their first child, a baby boy on this Sunday (1st November). The couple took their Instagram accounts to reveal the name of their son – Veer. RJ Anmol shared a glimpse of the baby boy in a cute picture where the baby is seen giving a ‘brofist’ to his parents.

He captioned the post, “Hello World… Meet Our Son #Veer. He is lookin at his 1st BroFist frm YOU !!! Seek Your Blessings ~Amrita Rao RJ Anmol~” Amrita reposted her husband’s post on her Instagram page.

On the day of Veer’s birth, the new parents, Amrita and RJ Anmol shared a heartfelt note on Instagram that said, “Buoy O Boy… Yes, it’s a ‘Boy’… Amrita and the Baby are doing perfectly fine. So much love pouring in… We feel blessed! Thank you. As we complete 11 years of our relationship, couldn’t ask for a better gift. Baby names suggestions are welcome.”

After dating for several years, the couple ties knot in 2016. Amrita was last seen on screen in the 2019 film Thackeray.

They have also released an official statement which says, “Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy this morning. Both the mother and baby are healthy and doing well. The family is ecstatic and both Amrita and RJ Anmol thank everyone for their wishes and blessings.”

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, RJ Anmol Sood was quoted saying, “I am feeling on top of the world right now. Look at the luck and the destiny in which I completely believe in. These are things which we do not plan. Amrita is a princess so she deserves to be treated like that. There’s nothing new, that’s the way I have been treating her from day one.” Speaking about the time they spend together during the nationwide lockdown, Anmol was quoted saying, “Who gets the opportunity to be together 24 hours a day at such a time! Talking about dealing with the pandemic, we didn’t move out at all and were very strict and particular about that aspect.”

Amrita Rao, on speaking about how her husband pampered her, spoke to Hindustan Times and was quoted saying, “Anmol reads a chapter from the Bhagvad Gita to baby and me every night. It’s like reliving our childhood. I guess it takes your child to be in front of you to believe what nature can do.”
