Adani Green Energy operationalises 150 MW solar project in Gujarat

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has successfully operationalised a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat. This milestone was achieved through its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited (AGE25CL).

The commissioning of this project marks a significant step for AGEL, bringing its total operational renewable generation capacity to 19,735.8 MW. Additionally, the company has reached a total operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 1,376 MWh.

The decision to operationalise the plant and commence power generation was made at 7.40 p.m. on May 10, 2026, following the receipt of the necessary clearances. Power generation began on the same day, further solidifying AGEL’s position in the renewable energy sector.

This development aligns with AGEL’s ongoing commitment to expanding its renewable energy footprint and contributing to sustainable energy solutions.
