Good news for kids aged 12 to 14 years, from March 16th onwards India will commence vaccinating this age group said Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday.
The precondition of co-morbidity for individuals aged 60 and upwards to receive a precautionary jab will be null and void. Now everyone in that age group can easily go for booster shots.

The vaccination producer Biological Evans will give out Corbevax COVID-19 vaccine to commence the vaccination coverage.
The minister shared this news in Hindi via ‘Koo’, a social media platform. He stated, “Our children’s safety is prime and once they are safe so is our country! I am delighted to announce that the children aged 12 to 14 years will now be eligible to take the COVID-19 vaccination from March 16th onwards. For individuals aged 60 and above they will be eligible for booster shots. I urge families to make use of this opportunity.”
