
On Friday, Farmer’s Organisations across the country gave a call for a Bandh to protest the 3 bills that were passed by the Parliament. These bills were passed amid protests by the Opposition parties, without discussion in Parliament. On Monday morning, a tractor was set on fire near India Gate in the heart of Delhi, as a part of protests against the farm bills.
As per the reports of ANI, About 15-20 people had gathered around 7:15- 7:30 am and tried to set a tractor on fire. The fire was doused off and the tractor was removed.

PTI had qouted Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Eish Singhal, who stated, “Legal action is being taken in the matter. Identity of the persons involved is being ascertained.”
According to fire officials, they received information regarding the incident at 7.42 am and two fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
The farmers protest was triggered after President Ram Nath Kovind gave his approval on Sunday to the three bills passed in Parliament. The protests are strongly taking place in Punjab and Haryana.
