RBI finalizes ‘Go Digital, Go Secure’ theme for Financial Literacy Week

The Financial Literacy Week will take place this year from February 14 to February 18.

This year’s topic for Financial Literacy Week has been chosen by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as “Go Digital, Go Secure.” This is one of the Strategic Plan for Financial Education 2020-2025’s strategic goals. According to a press statement issued on Friday, the RBI will focus on raising awareness about the ease of online payments, their security, and client protection.

The Financial Literacy Week will take place this year from February 14 to February 18. Reserve Bank of India has directed all banks to spread information and raise awareness about the event among their clients and the general public. Throughout the month, the central bank will also launch a major media campaign to promote important financial literacy lessons to the general population.

Since 2016, the RBI has held Financial Literacy Week (FLW) to spread financial education messages on a variety of topics to members of the public around the country.
