Rajasthan government makes it mandatory for people get at least one COVID-19 vaccine shot to visit public places

On June 26, the government of Rajasthan announced that people are going to need to have at least one vaccination dose of COVID-19 to visit public places mandatorily from 28th of June.

Rajasthan’s government introduced this provision along with a fresh set of guidelines on the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. According to the new guidelines, from now on, government offices will be open till 6 pm. Whereas, vaccinated employees of business establishments will be able to open for an additional three hours till 7 pm.

From July 1, marriage palaces will be allowed to open for organizing marriage programs. The marriage garden, halls, hotels, etc. will be permitted to hold wedding ceremonies till 4 pm with 40 guests maximum. Disc jokey (DJs), marriage processions and marriage feasts are yet to get allowed.

Religious places will begin to open with certain restrictions. Regarding gyms and restaurants, if at least 60 percent of the staff has got a vaccination will be allowed to remain open for an additional three hours from 4 pm to 7 pm. It will be obligatory for the clubs, gyms, malls, restaurants, shops and other commercial establishments operators to get their staff inoculated.

Private vehicles-led traffic will be allowed from 5 am to 8 pm from the days of Monday to Saturday. Public parks will be accessible to everyone from 5 am to 8 am.

The new set of guidelines, issued by the Home Department are termed as “Three-layered public-discipline 3.0” and will come into effect from June 28.
