Yesterday, the Pune police crime branch arrested Dr. Ajay Tawade and Dr. Hari Harnor of Sasoon Hospital.
The investigation has unveiled that the juvenile’s father and Dr. Tawade spoke over call on the day of the accident. “The juvenile’s father had called the doctor and offered him allurements to replace the blood samples,” said police.
It has been hinted that the blood samples of the minor was replaced with those of a doctor. Officials have claimed that the samples were swapped to remove the traces of alcohol.
As the reports by news agency, the sources have claimed that the doctor did not swap the blood samples, but also awarded him clean chit in the physical test without examining him.
“I will not keep quiet. I will take everyone’s name,” said the doctor during investigation.
