Prime Narendra Modi delivered his victory speech as his party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), won three out of four assembly elections on Sunday. The party has managed to retain Madhya Pradesh with a mammoth majority and have defeated Congress in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
Addressing his party workers at BJP headquarters, PM noted that some are pointing out that today’s hattrick is a guarantee for hattrick in 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He added that the election results served as a lesson to Congress and their ‘ghamandiya ghatbandhan’.
The lesson is that the country’s trust cannot be gained by just some few family members coming together on stage. The spirit of national service should be to win the heart of the people of the country, which is absent from ‘ghamandiya ghatbandhan’ (I.N.D.I.A alliance).
Some of the key takeaway points from today speech:
- Today’s mandate has proved that there is zero tolerance against corruption, familism, and appeasement. The country thinks that if anyone is capable of eliminating these three evils is BJP only.
- It is my suggestion to Congress to bring an end to their ideas which can only weaken the country and strengthen anti-national elements.
- In my political career, I always refrained from predictions… But this time, I broke this rule. In Rajasthan… I predicted that Congress will not return because I had confidence in the people of Rajasthan.
