
Pune, Dec 17 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday paid homage to the Indian Armed Forces personnel who laid down their lives during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Reminiscing the valour of the war martyrs, the CM said, “From this war, the Indian Army set a perfect example of bravery and courage in defending human values before the world. Our heroes risked their lives, in which even the sons of Maharashtra bet their might.”
“Greetings to the memory of the martyred soldiers of this war. Salutations to the sacrifices and dedication of all of them and also to the patience of their families,” he remarked.
