DMK leader condemns ‘Jai Shree Ram’ slogans in India-Pakistan match, BJP attacks

Earlier, Udhayanidhi Stalin had given a controversial statement regarding the Sanatan Dharma, where he compared Sanatan religion to malaria and dengue.

Tamil Nadu minister and chief minister MK Stalin’s son. Udhayanidhi Stalin, is once again in the news for his controversial remark. Junior Stalin, who compared Sanatan Dharma to dengue and malaria, has now reacted to the slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ raised by the public during the India-Pakistan match in ICC ODI Cricket World Cup.

Actually, Udhayanidhi Stalin had objected to the slogan of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ raised by the public during the India-Pakistan match. For which he has also made a post on social media platform X. He wrote: “India is renowned for its sportsmanship and hospitality. However, the treatment meted out to Pakistan players at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is unacceptable and a new low. Sports should be a unifying force between countries, fostering true brotherhood. Using it as a tool to spread hatred is condemnable. #IndiaVsPakistan”

To junior Stalin’s remark, Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai responded by saying: “Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has nothing to do with saying that sports should be looked at as a game and why is Udhayanidhi Stalin criticizing only Sanatana.” (As quoted by ANI)

It is known that earlier Udhayanidhi Stalin had given a controversial statement regarding the Sanatan Dharma. He had compared Sanatan religion to malaria and dengue. He said that just as these things have to be eradicated, in the same way we have to eradicate Sanatan Dharma.
