Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will not appear before the ED, i.e., Enforcement Directorate today. CM Kejriwal will be in Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh shortly, where he will take part in an election campaign. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will also be accompanying him in Singrauli. Let us tell you that CM Arvind Kejriwal had to appear before the ED today. But even before this Kejriwal had written a reply to ED.
“They want to stop me from campaigning”
In this reply, he had said that this notice has been sent against him only at the behest of BJP. He also said that ED should immediately withdraw its notice in this matter. On the summons of ED, Kejriwal had said that this is also being done so that he cannot campaign. Summon is illegal and politically motivated.
In his letter to ED, Delhi CM wrote: “Being the National Convener and a star campaigner of the AAP, I am required to travel for campaigning and to provide political guidance to my field workers of AAP. As the CM of Delhi, I have governance and official commitments for which my presence is required, particularly in view of Diwali coming up. Please recall the said summons, which is to say the least, is vague and motivated and unsustainable in law.”

Kejriwal is running away from investigation: Kapil Mishra
As, Delhi CM will not be present in front of ED for questioning, Delhi BJP Vice President Kapil Mishra attacked CM Kejriwal and said Kejriwal’s action is an indicator of his crime. “Kejriwal is saying to withdraw ED notice, tomorrow he will say that Supreme Court should withdraw its order. It is clear in the court order that bribe worth Rs 338 crore was taken. Kejriwal is running away from investigation, if Kejriwal were honest he would have answered every question of ED today. His running away from investigation is an indicator of his crime,” said Kapil Mishra.

ED searches AAP minister’s house
It is noteworthy that meanwhile, central agency ED has tightened its grip on another minister of Delhi government. The ED team has reached the house of Delhi Government Social Welfare Minister Rajkumar Anand this morning. The ED team is conducting searches at the minister’s official residence in Civil Lines. According to reports, ED is conducting searches in the money laundering case.
