Delhi BJP chief alleges Rs 7 crore bribe in Delhi CCTV project corruption case involving Satyendar Jain

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva has alleged massive corruption by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former minister Satyendar Jain in the ₹571 crore CCTV project case, following the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi booking Jain for alleged irregularities.

Speaking on the case, Sachdeva claimed that Jain accepted a ₹7 crore bribe in exchange for arbitrarily waiving ₹16 crore in liquidated damages that were imposed on Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) due to delays in installing CCTV cameras across the national capital.

“AAP’s corruption is finally exposed in connection with the CCTV project corruption case,” said Sachdeva.

The Delhi ACB has initiated legal proceedings against the former minister, further intensifying political tensions between the BJP and AAP over corruption allegations in Delhi’s governance.
