In the poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a rally on Saturday in Pichhore, where he appealed to voters to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party, claiming that the Congress is ‘anti-development’. Amit Shah also made several attacks against former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, who’s Congress’ face for the upcoming elections.

“Congress government is anti-development. When the Congress government was in power here for 15 months, they stopped giving Rs 1,000 to the Sahariya tribe and also stopped the Sickle Cell Anemia Mission. But the BJP government has started the work of restarting all these schemes,” said Amit Shah.
Amit Shah also alleged that Congress party leaders are involved only in family politics. He even said Kamal Nath wants to make his son Nakul Nath the next Chief Minister of the state. He said: “The job of Congress is only to put its sons and daughters in power. Sonia ji is at the centre, she wants to make Rahul ji the Prime Minister. In Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath wants to make his son Nakul Nath the Chief Minister.”
“One who is in politics for his son cannot do any good to the poor of the country and Madhya Pradesh. They can only do scams,” added Shah.
Sharing pictures from his rally, the union home minister posted on X, “The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh has taken development to the homes of every poor and deprived person. The welfare of the poor in the state is possible only under the BJP government. Pictures of the public meeting organized in Pichhore (Madhya Pradesh)…”
