Congress in-charge for Rajasthan, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has said that the BJP has made ED its face in Rajasthan. He wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter): :Now elections will be held in Rajasthan on the face of ED. BJP has neither any leader nor any leadership in the state. Seeing Congress’s return certain, BJP made ED its face.”

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also lashed out at BJP by saying that the party has implemented its ‘Plan E’, i.e., ED, in the state. “After BJP’s Plan A, B, C, D all failed, now only Plan ‘E’ is left. That is why by using ED as an electoral locust, they send it to whichever state where BJP’s defeat is certain to try to spoil the crop of the winning parties. Yesterday gave 2 guarantees to the women of Rajasthan and today sent it to ED. Now we are going to give 5 more guarantees, so that the number of people with ED does not reduce by the day after tomorrow,” said CM Gehlot.

Sachin Pilot also made a social media post on X criticising the ED’s action on Congress leaders in Rajasthan. “I strongly condemn the ED raid on Rajasthan Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara. ED summons has also been given to Vaibhav Gehlot, son of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. BJP cannot scare Congress leaders with such tactics. All the leaders and workers of the state Congress are standing together in solidarity,” said Pilot.

“BJP’s nervousness is clearly visible due to such action, because the public has made up its mind to bring Congress government back in Rajasthan in the upcoming elections,” added Pilot.
