PM Narendra Modi in his 74th Independence Day speech focused on the journey of development in Jammu and Kashmir since the abolition of a law of Article 370 last year.
He said that, this year is the year of rights received by, the women & Dalits in Jammu and Kashmir. He further added, this year is also the year of a life of dignity for the refugees of Jammu and Kashmir,.
PM Narendra Modi further stated that the borderline exercise is being carried out in Jammu and Kashmir. He also said, they are committed for the completion of this work.
On Ladakh PM Narendra Modi said that, a long dream of the people of the region is coming to life i.e. Ladakh made a Union Territory. He further added that this will wave the flag for development of the region and we are fully committed towards it.
