
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has scheduled his visit to four states on 7th and 8th July. On 7th July, he will be visiting Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh, while on 8 July, he will be visiting Telangana and Rajasthan.
In Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects worth approximately ₹6,400 crores. This will include the inauguration of five National Highway projects, such as the 33 km 4-laning of Raipur to Kodebod section on the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway, which will improve connectivity and boost tourism in the region. He will also lay the foundation stone for three National Highway projects for the Chhattisgarh section of the 6-lane Greenfield Raipur – Visakhapatnam corridor.
In Gorakhpur of Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi will participate in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press Gorakhpur. He will also flag off two Vande Bharat trains, namely Gorakhpur – Lucknow Vande Bharat Express and Jodhpur – Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) Vande Bharat Express. He will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Gorakhpur Railway Station.
In Varanasi, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of multiple development projects worth over ₹12,100 crore. This includes the dedication of the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction- Son Nagar railway line of Dedicated Freight Corridor and the four-lane widening of Varanasi-Jaunpur section of NH-56. He will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Manikarnika and Harishchandra Ghats.
Prime Minister Modi will visit Warangal, Telangana, where he will lay the foundation stone for development projects of roads and rail infrastructure worth around ₹6,100 crore.
In Bikaner, Rajasthan too, Prime Minister Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹24,300 crore. These include the six-lane greenfield expressway section of the Amritsar – Jamnagar Economic Corridor and the phase-I of the Inter-State Transmission Line for Green Energy Corridor. He will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Bikaner Railway Station.
During these visits, the Prime Minister will also distribute loans of PMSVANidhi, keys of PMAY Rural houses, and Ayushman cards to beneficiaries in Uttar Pradesh.
