
Today, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched multiple projects at Diyodar in his city Gujarat; near Banaskantha district he laid the foundation stone for the upcoming projects. Modi reached Ahmedabad on Monday for a 3-day visit.
Modi said that as much milk generates Rs 8.5 lakh crores of revenue per year, the combined revenue of wheat and rice don’t match up to milk production every year.
PM Modi said, “Banas Dairy has turned into a powerful supportive hub to strengthen local communities of farmers and especially women. I am very happy with Banas Dairy’s efforts to make innovative developments in various offerings. Proud of their relentless innovation in honey-related products.”
PM Modi further added, “I congratulate and bless the Banaskantha community for their focussed hard work and spirit. How these people have uplifted the agricultural sector is quite impressive. the farmers here have taken up technological advancements in their stride, did impressive water conservation jobs and everyone who visits this place can see for themselves. A lot has changed for the better since my last visit to Banaskantha’s Banas Dairy.”
PM Modi further added, “I was very much impressed with the staff at the Banas Dairy. I visited the Banas Dairy in 2013 and 2016, and back then they had just launched their product line.
PM Modi later will also lay the foundation stone for the World Health Organizations Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar today.
