Eknath Shinde, Minister of Urban Development, turned rebel against his party Shiv Sena President, led by Uddhav Thackeray. A high-voltage political drama couldn’t get worse after the faction led by Eknath Shinde continued to grow in number, outnumbering the count of 37 MLA’s requirement for ditching the anti-defecation law. Presently, Uddhav Thackeray and his close associates in the party are reduced to a meager count, leading to the possible fall of MVA in the Vidhan Sabha floor test. Eknath Shinde has confirmed that he has received the support of a National party and his MLAs have voiced their opinions on making a coalition with the BJP.
