Militants ambushed an Army convoy in Jammu’s Kathua district on Monday afternoon. The attack took place in Badnota village, Lohai Malhar area, and sources reported that the encounter is still ongoing.
Soldiers retaliated immediately, and reinforcements have been rushed to the scene. This incident marks the second terror attack in Jammu division since Sunday morning. In the previous attack, a soldier was injured in an assault on an Army camp in Rajouri district’s Manjakote area.
In the Rajouri attack, Army personnel guarding the camp forced the militants to flee, prompting a massive search operation by the Army and police to locate the gunmen.
