Indian Railways’ North Central Railway(NCR) zone will be adding additional coaches in certain trains given the upcoming festive season. It has been declared that the trains will run with updated coach composition from this month.

The Indian Railways is typically known to operate about 5,000 festival special trains annually during this period. However, this year’s prevailing COVID-19 pandemic has complicated the situation. At the same time, the passenger demands remain more or less the same, the railway officials are made to operate at a much lesser operational size due to the COVID-19-related rules.
