INS Vagsheer boasts of top speed at 20 knots when under water and when surfaced it can go upto a speed of 11 knots.
Its primary functionality is to attack unfreindly naval vessels and is considered to be one of the latest and most advanced defense submarine systems. It is fully loaded with weapons, highly aware sensors and defense systems that can thwart any threat under water or above the sea surface.
INS Vagsheer has a fantatstic SONAR and sensor armor allowing it to perform at its technological best. It will be put to sea trials after its launch today and will soon join the Indian Naval fleet by 2024 march.
