Amit Mishra’s tweet posted on Friday has triggered controversy in the cricket and political circles as the former Indian cricketer who failed to bag an IPL contract this year seems to have taken an indirect dig at Irfan Pathan. Irfan Pathan on Friday tweeted a message that mentioned nothing apart from a cryptic message that soon was considered to be a political reservation of the cricketer.

Amit Mishra quickly took it to his Twitter handle with a similar message but a continuation of Irfan Pathan’s tweet. Mishra mentioned, “My country, my beautiful country, has the potential to be the greatest country on earth…..only if some people realise that our constitution is the first book to be followed.”

The message soon became viral and started attracting comments from political and cricket circles. Amit Mishra didn’t reply to Irfan Pathan’s tweet but surrounded the latter with a stern reply. No official confirmation or statements are made from either cricketers but the fans have speculated that it was a response to Irfan Pathan for his political stance.
