College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad with its vision to be center of excellence in grooming strategic leaders to face the challenges of National security offers variety of disciplines under the umbrella of management to officers from Indian armed forces, paramilitary forces, Ministry of Defence and officers of friendly foreign nations.
The long-term partnership formalised through the MoU with Tata Institute of Social Sciences enhances (TISS) the opportunities for College of Defence Management for academic connect, an official release said here on Monday.
The TISS, one of the oldest institutions offering multidisciplinary studies having collaboration with more than 50 institutions, is keen to take their first step in partnering with an institution under the Ministry of Defence.
Speaking on the occasion, TISS Vice-Chancellor, Prof Shalini Bharat expressed the interest in enhancing the connection through Faculty development programs and Management Development Programs to identify the areas of common interests.
In his address, CDM Commandant Rear Admiral Sanjay Datt ,expressed the interest in leveraging the strength of TISS in the field of applied research.
