Amit Shah to chair high-level J&K Security Review meeting in Delhi tomorrow

A high-level conference to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir will be lead by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

On Thursday, a high-level meeting will be held in the nation’s capital under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

The official report of his meeting was released on Wednesday, as a encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Chakoora area of Shopian, in south Kashmir.

Kashmir and Jammu In addition to other senior officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Central Armed Police Forces, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Director General of Police Jammu and Kashmir Dilbagh Singh, and others will attend the meeting.

The chief of RAW and other senior Centre officials, including those from Jammu and Kashmir, are expected to attend the conference.

The agenda of the meeting is also likely to include topics related to the various development projects being carried out in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Home Minister reviewed the security situation in the Union Territory during his three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir in October of last year.

On December 28, 2022, Shah held a review meeting in New Delhi to discuss the security situation and development matters regarding to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
