On Wednesday a robbery was committed at the State Bank of India, Dahisar branch. Two assaulters had opened fire in the bank. It has been reported that one employee died in the attack.
The incident took place in the afternoon around 3:30 pm. According to a report by Zee 24, the robbers entered the bank & asked the employees for money at gunpoint. The police hurried to the place & carefully inspected the bank premises. Police personnel have been deployed in the area for arresting the robbers. “The robbers fled the spot within two minutes taking with them whatever cash they could get their hands on,” said a police officer of Dahisar Police station as per Hindustan Times.
An employee tried to stop the robbers & was shot in the chest. He died at the hospital during the treatment. A case of murder & robbery has been registered against the robbers. Police are now checking the CCTV footage to confirm the identity of the robbers.
