
In a tragic incident in Gonda, two children were killed by a car from the convoy of Karan Bhushan Singh, son of BJP candidate Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. One child was injured and has been admitted to the hospital.
The car involved in the accident is registered to Nadani Educational, which is owned by the family of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Police have seized the car and taken the driver into custody. However, authorities are not confirming whether Karan Bhushan Singh was present in the convoy at the time.
The accident has been reported to the Colonelganj police station, where a case has been registered. A police force is on the scene to maintain law and order.
Karan Bhushan Singh, a national player in double trap shooting, is making his political debut as the BJP candidate for the Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat. He holds multiple degrees and currently serves as the president of the UP Wrestling Association. His elder brother, Prateek Bhushan, is a BJP MLA from Gonda Sadar.
The investigation is ongoing and the situation is being closely monitored by the police.
