
TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu attended the last rites and funeral of Ramoji Rao on Sunday. Rao, the founder of Ramoji Film City and ETV Network, passed away on Saturday in Hyderabad at the age of 87.
In a video, shared by ANI on X, his funeral procession began at Ramoji Film City, which was joined by the deceased’s family members and friends, including Naidu, to carry his moral remains.
The political leader led the procession while fans, family members, and friends gathered at the funeral site to pay their last respects.

Rao was undergoing treatment at city’s Star Hospital and took his last breath at 3.45 am. He was admitted to hospital after he suffered high blood pressure and breathlessness. He was put on ventilator support following surgery and passed away as his health deteriorated.
