New Delhi, (PTI): The CBI registers case against RB Educational Trust, its Chairperson & others including ex-DC, ex-Tehsildar, ex-Naib Tehsildar of Kathua.
The officials said that a case has been registered against R B Educational Trust of Kathua and unknown public servants to probe the allegations of illegal gratification and extraneous consideration by the revenue and forest officials of district Kathua in allowing the sale and purchase of forest land.
They are arrested because of allegations of having facilitated the Trust in possessing land much beyond the ceiling limit & submitting a false affidavit in Trust’s support.
It also alleged that false information was submitted in the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on June 9, 2015, vide an affidavit filed on public interest litigation to favor this trust, the officials said.
