Early trends from the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 show the NDA taking an initial lead with 46 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan (MGB) is trailing at 35 as counting progresses across all 243 constituencies.
Within the NDA bloc, the BJP is ahead in 29 seats, emerging as the strongest performer in the alliance so far. Its partners JD(U) are leading in 15 seats, while LJPRV and HAM are ahead in 1 seat each.
On the opposition side, the MGB has secured early leads in 35 seats. The RJD is leading in 30 seats, making it the primary challenger at this stage. The Congress is ahead in 5 seats, while the Left parties — CPI and CPIML — are yet to open their tally.
These numbers are expected to fluctuate through the day as more rounds of counting are completed.
