Amit Shah would address a rally tomorrow in Baramulla

As part of a three-day visit to the Union territory, Union Home Minister Amit Shah landed in Srinagar on Tuesday, according to officials.

They reported that Mr. Shah arrived from the Jammu region at the Srinagar airport at around 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, the Union Home Minister began a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. On Monday, he met with a number of delegations, and on Tuesday, he paid a visit to the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra and address a public rally in Rajouri.

A public demonstration and a security review meeting are scheduled for Wednesday in Baramulla on Amit Shah’s agenda for Kashmir, according to the officials.

They said that the meeting’s main objective would be to address the assaults on foreigners in the Kashmir valley.

According to the officials, Mr. Shah also plans to launch and lay the groundwork for a number of development projects in Srinagar. He will then travel back to Delhi that same evening.

The valley has increased security in preparation for Amit Shah’s visit. According to the officials, multiple layers of security have been set up, and overhead surveillance is also being done with drones.

According to them, increased police and paramilitary troops have been deployed, along with more checks on the Srinagar-Baramulla route, to keep a careful eye on the situation.

The officials noted that patrolling has been stepped up in numerous locations, particularly along the Srinagar-Baramulla-Kupwara highway.

They claimed that the rally’s location had been transformed into a fortress.
