The two jets took off from the Gwalior air base in Madhya Pradesh, where an exercise was taking place, according to the report. According to Defense Ministry officials, IAF head briefed Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on the accident of two planes. “The Defence Minister inquired about the safety of the IAF pilots and is closely following developments,” Defence Ministry officials noted.
