
On Wednesday, the Indian consumer goods business Zydus Wellness, which makes skincare and nutrition products, disclosed the company’s financial results for the fourth quarter.
The company’s consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter, which concluded on the 31st of March 2023, increased by 9 percent to reach 145.33 crore, an increase of 9 percent over the previous quarter.
During the FY23Q4 period, the consolidated net profit from operations came in at Rs 712.98 crore, which is an increase over the Rs 639.78 crore that was recorded during the same time period the previous fiscal year.
The total amount spent throughout the quarter came to 580.23 crore, which is much more than the 510.34 crore that was spent during the same period of time in the previous year.
The overall consolidated net profit for the whole financial year came in at 310.37 crore, which is an increase over the previous year’s figure of 308.87 crore.
According to a report made by the corporation, the consolidated net profit from operations came in at 2,254.79 crore, which is an increase over the previous year’s figure of 2,009.1 crore.
The pharmaceutical corporation Zydus Lifesciences, previously known as Cadila Healthcare, owns this business and operates it as a subsidiary.
