Warren Buffet’s 5% stake in Apple is now worth $120 billion

Along with Apple, Warren Buffet also owns a stake in the e-commerce giant Amazon.

Warren Buffet, the billionaire investor and CEO of American multinational conglomerate holding company Berkshire Hathaway now makes over $120 billion from his 5% stakes in Apple as the tech giant company hit $ 3 trillion.

Warren Buffet’s bet on Apple has proved to be his best bet ever. Berkshire Hathaway started buying Apple stocks in 2016 and by the mid of 2018, the conglomerate company Berkshire Hathaway acquired 5% stakes in Tech giant Apple.

The stake cost around $36 billion. However, now in 2022, his Apple investment is worth $120 billion as Apple rise to $ 3 trillion. “Without a doubt, it is one of the strongest investments that Berkshire has made in the last decade,” said James Shanahan, Berkshire analyst at Edward Jones.

In an interview with CNBC back in February 2020, Buffet called Apple’s stock as “his third business”. Along with Apple, Warren Buffet also owns a stake in the e-commerce giant Amazon. As of now, the stake is worth $1.8 billion.
