The BSE Sensex remained negative on Friday too, as the BSE sensex tumbled down 264.28 points at 59,693.75 in opening trade as selling was seen in Realty, Technology, Bankex and Capital Goods stocks.
While, the Nifty fell 47.15 points at 17,811.05.
The Sensex registered intra day high and low at 60.044.96 and 59,628 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 17,872.60 and 17,775 points respectively.
The Mid Cap declined 0.26 per cent while small Cap rose by 0.10 per cent.
In 30 scrips 12 advanced while 18 declined.
The losers were HCL Technology by 2.49 per cent to Rs 1045.25, L& T by 1.86 per cent to Rs 2120, Wipro by 1.52 per cent to Rs 388.45, Tech Mahindra by 1.37 per cent to Rs 988.35.
The gainers were Tata Steel by 1.23 per cent to Rs 119.50, M& M by 1.23 per cent to Rs 1336.05 and Ultracemco by 1.05 per cent to Rs 7226.
