NSE includes Vodafone Idea & IRCTC in the F&O ban list

On Tuesday, September 21, 2021 eight shares and securities settled under futures and options(F&O) restrictions for trading As per the National Stock Exchange (NSE) they have crossed 90% of the market-wide position limit (MWPL) the securities come under the ban list of (F&O ) segment.

National Stock Exchange NSE added Telco Vodafone idea under (F&O) sanction list today in which Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation ( IRCTC), Exide Industries, Punjab National Bank (PNB), Sun TV, National Aluminium Company (NALCO), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Aryaman the share which was under the previous session of the ban period any fresh positions where not allowed of that particular stock under (f&O)contract.

NSE stated that any increase in Open positions will attract appropriate penalties and disciplinary actions and informed all the clients and members have to trade in derivative contracts of the said security only to reduce their position, by the way, offsetting positions.

According to the stock exchange set (MWPL) market-wide position limit the maximum number of contract that can be open at any time(Open interest) if it crosses 95% of MWPL so the (F&O) the contract of that stock enter the ban period.
