Metal futures stable on the MCX, gold trades at Rs 50,630

Gold Futures was flat on Friday with a slight negative outlook. MCX December Gold opened at Rs 50586 per 10 gm and was trading at Rs 50,630 by mid-trade.

On the MCX, December Silver were trading up by 0.17% after opening at Rs 61,649 per kg. The contract previously closed at Rs 61,535 per kg.

Manoj Jain, Prithvi Finmart told Moneycontrol, “Any decline in the prices will be an opportunity to buy in both the precious metals at lower levels. Gold can be bought around the 50300-50200 range with a stop loss of 50050 for the target of 50800-51000.”

Crude oil and Natural gas were trading at Rs 2,978 and Rs 203 on the Multi-Commodity Index respectively.
