Mortgage lender HDFC Ltd. reported on Thursday that its consolidated net profit climbed by 24% to Rs.7,043 crore in the third quarter of 2022.
In a regulatory statement, HDFC stated that it had earned a net profit of Rs.5,670 crores during the same time last year.
Its overall revenue on a consolidated basis increased from Rs.38,603 crore to Rs.43,927 crore in the aforementioned quarter.
On an individual basis, its net profit climbed by 18% from Rs.3,780 crore to Rs.4,454 crore from the previous year.
The overall income (standalone) increased from 12,226 crore in the same quarter last year to 15,036 crore this quarter.
Net interest income (NII) for the second quarter was Rs.4,639 crore, up 13% from the same period last year when it was Rs.4,110 crore.
At the end of the September quarter, the net interest margin was 3.4%.
