PM Modi lays foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 31,500 crore

PM Narendra Modi is one to visit Tamil Nadu since the DMK formed the government in the state has laid the foundation stone for 11 projects worth 31500 crores.

PM Narendra Modi visited Tamil Nadu since the DMK formed the government in the state and has laid the foundation stone for 11 projects. Which will be worth nearly Rs 31,000 crore.

PM Narendra Modi has dedicated five projects to the nation which were worth over 2,960 crore. Moreover, in the presence of several dignitaries present over there which included Governor R N Ravi, Union Minister L Murugan and Chief Minister M K Stalin.

Modi had also witnessed the inauguration of 1,152 houses constructed. As part of the Light House Project-Chennai. Lest, it was built at a cost of 116 crore under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban.

The said project measured 262 km long on the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway. This would be built at a cost of over 14,870 crore. The project road would pass through the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. In order to help reduce travel time between Bengaluru and Chennai. This will reduce travel time by nearly 2 hours from the said cities.

The four-lane double-decker elevated road would be connecting the Chennai Port to Maduravoyal. Hence, an estimated of 21 km would be built at a cost of over 5,850 crore ensuring round the clock shifting of cargo vehicles to Chennai port.

The 94 km long four-lane from Neraluru to Dharmapuri section of NH-844. And 31 km long 2-lane  of Meensurutti to Chidambaram section of NH-227 would be made at a cost of around 3870 crore. And 720 crore respectively, would help to provide seamless connectivity throughout the important trade cities in the state.

The PM had a wonderful occasion to lay the foundation stone of a Multi-Modal Logistic Park at Chennai worth around 1430 crore.
