Canara Bank announced on Friday that it has issued and allotted Basel III Compliant Additional Tier I Bonds amounting to Rs 1012 crore.

Canara Bank Limited is one of the largest public sector banks owned by the Government of India. It is headquartered in Bengaluru. Through its BSE regulatory filing, the PSU dispensed with the following:

  1. Issue Type- 8.30% Non Convertible, Perpetual, Subordinated, Fully Paid Up, Unsecured
    Compliant Additional Tier I Bonds.
  2. ISIN- INE476A08084
  3. Issue Size- Rs 1012 crore
  4. No. of Bonds- 10,120
  5. Issue Opened On/Issue Closed On- 9th September, 2020
