Union Budget 2021: PM Modi arrives at parliament, chairs union cabinet meeting

Today, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the annual budget for FY 21-22 at 11 AM in the Parliament. The Union Cabinet is meeting ahead of Parliament session like every year to approve the Budget. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived at the Parliament and is chairing the cabinet meeting.

At the start of the joint session of Parliament on Friday, PM Narendra Modi said the Finance Minister had already announced 3-4 mini budgets and that the 2021-22 Budget should be seen as an extension of the same effort.

After the arrival of the Prime Minister all the eyes are set on the big growth budget and the Union Cabinet’s meeting begins ahead of the presentation of UnionBudget 2021-22.
