In another measure seen as a step to espouse the economically hit classes of the country, the final date for filing Income tax returns has been extended yet again.

In a move seen as providing relief to the small and  middle-class taxpayers the ultimate date for submission of self-assessment tax with  a monetary liability of up to 1lakh has been extended to 30th of November

 

The due date for commencement of operations by new special economic zones (SEZs). For claiming tax holiday under Section 10AA of the I-T Act has been extended by September 30.
