India’s GDP increased at 6.3% between July-September

According to the official data made public today, India’s economy expanded by 6.3% in the quarter of July through September, compared to 13.5% in the quarter before.

The Indian economy was expected to grow at a rate of half of the 13.5% reported in the April-June quarter of this fiscal year, according to analysts.

ICRA, a ratings agency, predicted that the GDP will increase at a pace of 6.5% whereas State Bank of India predicted a growth rate of 5.8% for the period of July to September 2022.

The GDP was predicted to increase by 6.1–6.3% in the second quarter of this fiscal year, according to an item earlier this month that appeared in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) bulletin.

China’s economy grew at a rate of 3.9% from July to September 2022.
