Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to announce the annual budget in Parliament today, and Minister of State for Finance Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad stated the Budget will favour all sections of the society.
“Today is a very auspicious day for the country. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget today. Whatever will be presented in the Budget today, I will fully support it,” he remarked as he addressed the media.
FM Sitharaman is expected to come to Parliament at 10 a.m. and deliver the Union Budget at 11 am. The Finance Minister will deliver a speech at roughly 11 am to kick off the Budget announcement. “PM Modi expects that every group – be it the ruling side of the Opposition – should sit together and listen to the presenting of the Budget and cooperate,” he further added.
The Parliament’s Budget Session began on January 31 with President Ram Nath Kovind’s speech. The first portion of Parliament’s Budget Session will take place from January 31 to February 11, and the second part from March 14 to April 8.
