Breaking News: PM Modi to hold meeting with financial regulators along with authorities at 4 PM today

Prime Minister to hold meeting with the financial regulators on July 30 through video conference, Finance Minister, Railway minister and Road & Highways minister to be present.

Prime Minister to hold meeting with the financial regulators on July 30 at 4 PM through video conference, Finance Minister – Nirmala Sitharaman, Railway minister- Piyush Goyal and Road & Highways minister – Nitin Gadkari to be present. The agenda of the meeting will likely focus on Moratoriums, Single window clearance, and MSMEs.

RBI governor – Shaktikanta Das and SEBI Chairman – Ajay Tyagi will be present in the meeting with the PM at 4 IST. It is expected that the meeting will discuss the current situation in financial market, overall economy, among others. This meeting has been called within 24 hours of meeting with the Managing Directors and CEOs of selected public sector banks (State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Canara Bank & Indian Bank).
