New Delhi, Apr 13: Auto wholesales were in the green in the last month of fiscal year 2022-23, according to data released by Society of Indian Automobile Manufactures (SIAM) on Thursday.
Two-wheeler sales registered a 7.6 per cent growth of 12.90 lakh units in March 2023 as against 11.98 lakh units sold in the corresponding period last fiscal year.
Passenger vehicle sales grew by 4.4 per cent at 2.92 lakh units in March 2023 as against 2.79 lakh units in the corresponding month of last financial year, the data showed.
Utility vehicle sales increased to 1.57 lakh units in the month under review as against 1.32 lakh units in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Three-wheeler sales in the domestic market witnessed a growth of 69.1 per cent at 54,360 units in March 2023 as against 32,135 units in March 2022, the data showed.
