This move strengthens SpiceJet’s international network, which already includes Dubai and Bangkok. The airline highlighted Kathmandu’s appeal as a hub for tourism and business, citing its ancient temples, vibrant bazaars, and proximity to major Himalayan peaks.

The airline has also expanded its domestic footprint with recent launches in Shivamogga, Tuticorin, Porbandar, and Dehradun. Backed by improved credit ratings and a ₹294 crore capital infusion by promoter Ajay Singh, SpiceJet continues to focus on operational and financial growth.
