3. Area 51, US
This secret US Air Force facility is well-known for providing conspiracy theories and ideas about alien life. Situated in the Nevada desert, the facility’s purpose is still unknown and entry is extremely restricted.
4. Svalbard Global Seed Vault, Norway
The Svalbard Global Seed Vault, located in the permafrost of the Norwegian Arctic, serves as a global repository for preserving plant seeds in the event of a disaster. The facility’s primary goal is to protect biodiversity, despite public access being severely restricted.
5. Snake Island, Brazil
As the name suggests, this Brazilian island is home to hundreds of poisonous snakes. It makes sense why it’s considered the world’s—not just Brazil’s—most forbidden place. The fact that the Brazilian government banned anybody from visiting the island should give you an idea of how dangerous it is.
