Jean-Claude Biguine India to boost its Home salon services

Amidst the pandemic induced lockdown, the government announced a new phase of unlocking which lifted restrictions in certain states. Therefore, allowing the beauty and salon trade to resume their operations safely. The global beauty chain, Jean-Claude Biguine India (JCB), also began its functions while following safety and hygiene protocols to complement the new normal that now leads the industry.

While the salons are under close inspection by their management to follow hygiene protocols daily, JCB is now focusing on shifting its gears to upgrade their Home salon services in Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore. Moreover, it is to guarantee the maximum level of safety for both its clients and employees.

“We are looking to commence our Home salon service division, JCB Home, once the restrictions are eased out. We will observe the best in industry safety, hygiene, and health measures. We are using the finest tools, sanitization systems, and protective gear for customer and employee safety. Permissions with management committees of residential societies are currently underway,” said Samir Srivastav, CEO, JCB India.

JCB Home salon services are unique in its functions as it offers its clients to avail services by on-duty salon experts compared to other home servicing companies. Further, these experts are trained on new home servicing protocols and are certified on safety, health, and hygiene norms. The salon company said that the professionals are provided with individual service kits that are thoroughly checked by the JCB task force who are appointed to overlook safety measures at the salons. Following which the experts move ahead with their assigned appointments that are limited to a few in a day.

Three weeks into restarting of its functions in Bengaluru, the French Beauty Giant has received a positive response from its clients owing to the precautionary measures undertaken by them. Even though the lockdown affected the business operations, the salon chain has said that it is already trending towards 60 percent of footfall, observed in a regular business month during this season.

The beauty chain believes that the people considering to not step out straightway post-lockdown, can choose these services safely and stress-free. “We want all our clients to be able to avail essential services, especially after such a long wait. We have received numerable inquiries for our Home salon services and its commencement. Our clients have been confident in the past with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Thus, they have no qualms over choosing us for their home services. Any queries that they may have is being addressed by a specially appointed JCB Task Force of operational managers, industry experts, Doctors, and servicing staff,” added Samir Srivastav.

The company in conjunction with its global partners have brought innovative offers that allow customers to avail services with minimum skin contact. For instance, it provides waterless manicure and pedicure from Brazil that comes with a single-use kit of disposable tools, cream-based moisturizing gloves, and boots.

Currently, JCB will be offering only essential home services such as haircuts, root touch up, waxing, and waterless manicure and pedicure that require minimum skin contact. Moreover, owing to strict safety protocols, services comprising massages, nail bar, and spa treatments are temporarily restricted.
