
Dinner is a very important meal because it is the last one of the day. Ayurveda recommends keeping dinner light and healthful. There are several foods that should not be consumed in dinner.
Here are some foods to avoid at dinner to promote weight loss
1. Curd
Most individuals eat curd with their meals. However, eating curd for dinner is unhealthy. It may cause weight gain.
2. Refined flour
Like wheat, refined flour is tough and hard to digest.
3. Sweets and chocolate
If you have a tendency to finish your meal with dessert, stop because it may cause weight gain.
4. Raw Salad
Salads are beneficial to health, however raw salads are chilly and dry, which increases Vata significantly. The digestive fire (agni) is lowest at night. Toxins may build up in the body when food is not digested properly.
