There are times when you’re hungry and are confused regarding what you should eat. You always want to prefer something healthy but you can’t control your cravings. You can prepare a delicious snack in 5 minutes and in this way, you won’t have to control your cravings. From something sweet to something salty, there are several snacks that can be prepared in 5 minutes.
Here are a few recipes that can be prepared in 5 minutes.
1. Coconut bars
You’ll require 3 cups shredded unsweetened coconut flakes, 1 cup coconut oil and 1/4 cup maple syrup. Mix all of them until the batter becomes thick. Pour this mixture to a pan and freeze until it becomes firm. Cut them into bars.
2. Peppermint Fudge Brownies
You’ll need 1 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup unsalted butter and 1.5 teaspoons peppermint extract. Add chocolate chips and unsalted butter to a microwave-safe bowl and heat them up. After it melts, add peppermint extract to it and mix it well. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan and freeze it for 50 minutes. After that, slice them into squares.
3. Candied Nuts
You’ll need nuts, sugar, cinnamon and butter. Caramelize the sugar and add butter cinnamon to it. Then, add nuts to the caramel.
4. Watermelon Strawberry Sorbet
You’ll need half a cup of water, 5 cups watermelon, 11/4 cups strawberries, 3/4 cup and 2 tbsp lemon juice. Blend all the ingredients in a blender until it turns smooth.
5. Mango Icecream
You’ll need 3 cups frozen mango chunks, 1/2 cup canned coconut milk, vanilla extract, 2-4 tablespoons maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Put all these ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Do not over-process it.
6. Greek Froyo
You’ll need 4 cups frozen fruit, half cup Greek yogurt, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and 3 tablespoons honey. Put all the ingredients in a bowl of a food processor. Process until it becomes smooth and creamy.
7. Chocolate Brownies
You’ll need 150 grams of butter, 275 grams sugar, 75 grams cocoa powder, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 3 eggs and 75 grams plain flour. Melt the butter and add sugar and cocoa powder to it. Mix well. Add vanilla extract and eggs to it. Mix it and then add flour to it. Mix the batter for 7-8 minutes and bake for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy the brownies with vanilla icecream.
8. Pan-fried Cinnamon Bananas
You’ll require 2 bananas, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Slice the bananas in a round shape. In a separate bowl, put sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. In a skillet, place the bananas and pour the cinnamon mixture on it. Cook for 3 minutes. Flip to the other side and pour the mixture. Let it cook for 3 minutes.
